Just bought this case for my 3rd generation iPod touch. Sleeker than silicone, but still has that rubbery feel (not like a hard case). The plum color looks purple in some light and blue in others, but it is not a bright color; nice and subtle. I wanted to protect my new iPod without putting a hard plastic case on it, but the silicone cases seem kind of bulky. This is sleek and has a slight rubbery feel, which I like, without the bulkiness and bright color that most silicone covers have.
