I was happy to receive this product to review from Amazon. It's incredibly easy to hook up - just plug in red, white and yellow cables to their color coded outlets on the unit and on your tv, plug in the power adaptor and it's ready to go.
If you are looking for a product that:
* Is easy to install
* Is an iPod charger (I assume iPhone too, but sadly, I don't have one to test out)
* Plays your iTunes music via your TV
* Plays back videos via your TV
* Allows you to view your pictures via your TV (are you noticing a pattern here?? it is for use with your TV...only)
I tested this with an old style iPod 32 GB, iPod Nano and iPod Touch 4th Gen and they all worked great. The iPod Touch was able to dock with either a soft silicone sleeve or a hard plastic case attached.
I also tried using an old stick style Shuffle directly into the USB port and a newer shuffle attached to the USB port via a cable. Neither of the Shuffles worked for me.
Yes, the interface is VERY basic. But that fits with this product. It is very basic. You don't need an instruction sheet. Just plug and play.
