I was looking for a case for my second generation iPod, and this case fits the bill perfectly. This case is cheap, nice quality, and it's pretty.
The case is made of plastic, but it's a hard plastic. It has a hole for the black thing (I'm not sure what it is, honestly) on the back, and four small cutouts on the corner. It makes the case easier to remove, should you ever need to. It seems to be built strong enough, as it didn't bend too much when I was trying to put it on.
The image on this site hides the fact that the case actually has a leather-like texture to it. It's a nice little surprise, and it makes the case look higher quality than it really is. The pattern doesn't match the texture at all, but it still feels nice when you're holding it. It also adds some padding.
It's a great little case that's very worth the price. And if you don't like this pattern, go check out another- it's worth it.
