It took a while for the product to get to me, but out of the box it works fine! I don't get any incompatibly messages when I plug it into the phone and it charges it just fine. I'm not sure if it is taking longer to charge my phone (some reviews said that the charge with this charger took longer than with an apple charger), but I charge mine overnight while I sleep anyway, so that's not a problem for me.
I ordered mine from seller "Young Kimbrough" (I just selected the Amazon Prime one, and this was the seller it came from) but maybe that will help some of you trying to decide who to buy from.
